On-site Projects

Help to Claim

Help to Claim is a dedicated service from Citizens Advice. We provide support in the early stages of an Universal Credit claim, from the application to the first payment. It’s free, independent and confidential. Our trained advisers can help with things like how to gather evidence for an application or how to prepare for a first JobCentre appointment.

This service is available across England, Wales, and Scotland ensuring consistent advice is provided across Great Britain. This service is accessible through the free telephone helpline (0800 144 8 444) or web chat services (citizensadvice.org.uk/helptoclaim).

Welfare Benefits

This service focuses on specialist welfare benefits advice in addition to that offered by the core service. For example, our specialist advisers offer assistance on appeals to tribunal services, challenges to the DWP, and complex benefit advice. This project is funded by the Henry Smith charity.

Debt advice

This service focuses on complex debt issues and advice in addition to that offered by the core service. For example, we offer help navigating the requirements of various creditors. This project is funded by the Henry Smith charity.

Employment

The Employment team provides free specialist advice, casework, and representation on employment issues including litigating employment claims on behalf of select clients. This service is funded by Trust for London.

Immigration

The Immigration Team provides free specialist advice, casework, and representation on immigration issues.  The majority of cases are family applications, registrations, overstayers and applications for travel and citizenship. Outside of immigration rules, they help refugees and others apply for indefinite leave to remain. This service is funded by Trust for London and City Bridge Trust.

E-Visa

UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) are replacing some physical documents, including biometric residence permits and cards, with an online record or eVisa. Our EVisa Adviser supports vulnerable immigrants to set up their online UKVI account and access their eVisa.
